US REPORTS 618 CASES OF NEW COVID-19 VARIANT: CDC

Highlights

• The United States has reported at least 618 new cases of the COVID-19 variants from the UK, South Africa and Brazil across 33 states

• The CDC in said of that 618 cases, 611 are the more contagious UK variant known as B.1.1.7. Of these 611 cases, 187 cases have been reported in Florida and 145 in California
