TSMC BEATS SAMSUNG COMPREHENSIVELY IN CHIP MANUFACTURING RACE

• A media report from Taiwan concluded  that TSMC, the world’s No. 1 foundry based in Taiwan, has brought in advance more than half of  EUV lithography equipment that will be manufactured by ASML of the Netherlands in 2021.
• The reason Samsung is investing in EUV lithography equipment is its use in manufacture of Nm Semiconductors.  Last year Samsung produced 7-nanometer semiconductors.
