The EU gas lobby is ecstatic

The European gas lobby's annual conference, which will take place in Brussels on Tuesday (June 14), is shaping up to be a celebration of dirty business as usual.

Shell, TotalEnergies, and Eni, three of Eurogas' most important members, have made historic profits thanks to skyrocketing oil and gas prices (nearly $40 billion in 2021 for these three businesses alone) since last year and much more so since the war in Ukraine.
