South Korea allows COVID-19 booster doses using a domestically produced vaccine

The local COVID-19 vaccine SKYCovione, created by SK Bioscience Co., was approved for use in South Korea on Friday for both primary inoculations and booster doses against the coronavirus.

At the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters meeting, Second Vice Minister of Health Lee Ki-il made the announcement.
