SINGAPORE'S JOB PAYOUT SCHEMES QUASHED FOR MANY FIRMS PERFORMING UNETHICAL PRACTICES

  • Inland Revenue Authority said around S$10 million worth of Jobs Support Scheme (JSS) payouts were denied to 444 businesses, either halfway or in full, after "unsuitable practices" were watched.

A portion of these practices incorporates managers making the standard measure of CPF commitments to workers who have been put on no-pay leave or whose pay has been cut.
