Obesity in Singaporean Children Raising Concerns During the Pandemic

Singapore’s Ministry of Health reported that 11 percent of the children’s population in 2013 was obese but the number increased to 13 percent in 2017. 

Health officials are concerned that this number must have spiked even further due to the restriction imposed during the pandemic when kids were forced to alter their lifestyles to accommodate indoor settings.
