New research studies oceanic diversity and activity  

United Nations (UN) has declared 2021 - 2030 to be the ‘Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development’. The step came as an effort to reverse the decline in the health of world’s ocean. The initiative will require data on the oceanic conditions. Tara Ocean Expedition had collected the data from 2009 – 2013 that will be used as baseline data to understand the impact of climate change on oceanic health.
