Kazakhstan celebrates its independence once again. First President Nursultan Nazarbayev put our country into a new era twenty-eight years ago. Kazakhstan has become one of the region's largest economies with a high profile on the global stage thanks to the tremendous efforts of many. It is in what our people have done, as well as in the international partners, that our nation can never lose sight of our roots.
