IMO to ban vessels from using fuels with a sulfur content above 0.5%

As of January 2020, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) shipping body of the United Nations will ban vessels from using fuels with a sulfur content above 0.5% compared to 3.5% now.

Through reducing air pollution, the regulations are aimed at improving human health.
