FINAL BEIDOU NAVIGATION SATELLITE LAUNCHED BY CHINA

Highlights:

• China has launched the final Beidou Navigation Satellite on Tuesday using Long March 3B rocket from the Xichang launch center.
• The mission to carry the final Beidou satellite was postponed from June 16 after the technical problems occurred during pre-launch tests in the Long March 3B rocket.
• China has spent approximately $10 billion on the Beidou series.
