DOLLAR SLUMPS, COMMODITY CURRENCIES SURGE

• The US dollar index, against the basket of six major currencies, slumped by 0.1% and stood at 99.51.
• EUR/USD jumps by 0.1% and stood at 1.0909, GBP/USD surge by 0.1%, and stood at 1.2458, and USD/JPY fell by 0.1% and stood at 106.66.
• The Reserve Bank of Australia has kept the rates on a record low of 0.25 percent as Australia is still battling the coronavirus pandemic.
