When we reach adulthood, why do we stop dancing? Why are we disconnecting from the body and alienating ourselves? It is shocking to me that in the fields of psychology and psychotherapy internationally, dance/movement therapy isn't any more common.
As a specialist in clinical neurobiology and psychology, I dedicated my focus for a couple of years nearly solely to the brain and mental health, ignoring the rest of the body.
