The death of the Taiwan’s military chief in a helicopter crash on January 2 had raised many questions as to what may have caused this failure. 8 senior officers including the 3 Major Generals and the Military Chief of Taiwan, Shen Yi-Ming, were killed in the mountain crash near Taipei. The incident occurred when the top general was visiting his troops stationed in Yilan County for the upcoming lunar new year.
