China's State Grid and Singapore Power have withdrawn from hybrid renewable and long-duration storage project in Australia

A joint venture between the State Grid Corporation of China and Singapore Power has opted not to invest in a hybrid power plant project in South Australia.

State Grid owns 60% of Jemena Group, which participates in the Australian energy market, and Singapore Power owns 40%. Jemena has opted to invest in its current assets rather than the unregulated energy market in which Aurora Energy Project intends to participate.
