The Philippines is the latest of China's neighbors to object to its new national map, joining India and Malaysia in issuing strongly worded statements accusing Beijing of claiming their territory.
China released a new version of its national map on Monday, as it has done annually since at least 2006, to rectify what Beijing has previously referred to as "problematic maps" that misrepresent its territorial borders.
