33,764 km long natural gas pipeline network across country

The government has authorized 33,764 km long pipeline across the country, the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) had announced this in March 2021.

The main aim of this project is to create a grid of national gas across the country and make availability of natural gas easier.

Gas comprises of about 6.2% of the primary energy source, now the government is planning to increase this up to 15% by the end of 2030.....
