A spiritual experience for Judo lovers at Kodokan

The creator of Judo, Kano Jigoro, established the Kodokan Judo institute in1882, which is for Judo lovers considered to be like the Mecca. The five main dojos(training halls) have 1,206 mats at the Kodokan today. Over the years the Kodokan building has grown both in size and stature today reaching a towering eight floors.
