With the searing heat predicted to last for the rest of the month and drier weather expected until September, physicians have warned the public about the dangers of heat-related illness.
According to Dr Kanak Naidu, senior consultant at Khoo Teck Puat Institution's Department of Acute & Emergency Care, the hospital sees up to three times more patients with heat-related injuries during the hotter months than during the colder ....
