Why we don’t consider Pluto a planet anymore

For a long time, Pluto was taken as the 9th planet of our solar system. Even though it is small, it orbits around the sun and is spherical in shape like a planet is supposed to be. However, it has been 13 years today since we stopped terming Pluto a planet and reclassified it as a dwarf planet. This day has been formally named the Pluto Demotion Day.
