WhatsApp issues security update against a new malware

New malware is discovered on the WhatsApp messaging app. Cert has advised users to update What’sApp on phones. Cert is India‘s cybersecurity agency.

WhatsApp’s software was used to install spyware on the phone. It has now been confirmed by WhatsApp who initially disagreed on it.

Irrespective of the geographical location of the phone, the new malware makes changes to the user’s device.
