Western arm manufacturing will increase as Ukraine depletes its supply

The six-month-old Ukrainian war against Russia's invasion is motivating Western countries to mobilize their armaments producers to increase production and restore stockpiles severely depleted by that supply.

Senior national armaments directors from allies will gather this week, as U.S. Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin indicated, to develop long-term strategies for supplying Ukraine and restocking their own arsenals.
