Virgin Orbit Rocket Launched Seven United States Defense Satellites

A Virgin Orbit rocket which was carrying seven satellites of the United States Defense Department was launched from a Boeing 747 which was flying off the Southern California coast.

It was a specially modified jumbo jet that took off from the Mojave Air and Space Port and released the Virgin rocket over the Pacific Ocean towards the northwest of Los Angeles.
