Urgent warning as the number of people exposed to rabies continues to climb

As a result of an increase in the number of cases, the government of Australia has issued a rabies warning for anybody traveling outside of the country.

The warning was issued by Queensland Health on Thursday, and it stated that the number of instances of possible rabies exposure in recently returned travelers had increased to pre-pandemic levels.
