Typhoon Kompasu hits the Hainan province in China, flights cancelled

Typhoon Kompasu, made a landfall on the Hainan province in China. The typhoon landed on the coast of Boao Township in the city of Qionghai at 3.30 p.m. The Hainan meteorological service quoted that packing winds up to 118.8 km per hour were witnessed.
