In my more than 50 years of clinical training, several people who needed assistance met me. Some had serious molecular source disorders that could be treated with medications. Others had serious problems with their lives which did not respond to treatment. In reality, other people were not sad but were more unhappy with their lives. Some tried to overcome this dissatisfaction by getting addicted to alcohol or drugs.
