It has been reported that an Indonesian cave painting that portrays an ancient hunting scene could possibly be the most ancient figurative artwork of the world going back almost 44 thousand years, a finding that points towards a progressive artistic culture.
Discovered around two years ago on the Sulawesi island, the painting which is 4.5 meters wide portrays half-human hunters chasing wild animals exercising what appear to be ropes ....
