The glory of Athletics club

One of West Dunbartonshire’s longest-established sporting clubs is marking its centenary as it aims to build for the future. Dumbarton Amateur Athletics Club was formed in February 1919 as Dumbarton Harriers and, over the past century, has been a regular on the Scottish competition scene. Despite being one of the region’s smaller clubs – the group still boasts a healthy membership of keen local amateur athletes.
