Thai Government Concerned with Fertility Rate

Thailand has been observing an increase in its aged population. The country expects 28 percent of its population to be 60 or older by 2031. The country has been seeing a low birth rate for many years now. However, it was only last year that the country saw far more deaths than births. Data reveals that in 2021, the number of deaths recorded was 563,650, in comparison to the number of births which were 544,570.
