The Thai navy has been working hard since Tuesday to clean up the oil spill from a pipeline that caused the loss of 60 tons of crude oil and spread it across 20 kilometers off the coast of Thailand’s Rayong province.
The authorities have declared the beach as a disaster zone and closed it for recreational activities. Crew members have been working at the beach in yellow plastic suits for protection to conduct the cleanup.
