Telecom operators to lose subscribers for the first time in eight years

Kolkata: For the first time in eight years, the mobile user base in the country is set to fall on this calendar, with many people likely to give up second and third ties as ownership is increasing, experts said.

Indeed in 2019 itself, after the 10 years of use of data collected by the regulator, the country's active mobile user database, or the current number of clients using mobile services on a network, may have declined.
