Squadron Energy, an Australian energy company, wants to invest A$3 billion ($2.15 billion) in a wind, solar photovoltaic (PV), and battery project in Queensland.
The project's nameplate capacity will be greater than 1,000MW. It will be around 150 kilometres south of Mackay, Queensland, and north and east of the Bowen Basin, the state's largest coal-producing region.
