S.KOREA’S FIRST MILITARY SATELLITE TRANSCENDS GEOSPACE TO ENTER GEOSTATIONARY ORBIT

South Korea’s military satellite penetrated the geostationary orbit exactly 10 days after liftoff.
This was particularly stated by the arms procurement agency.

The ANASIS-II fired last week from Florida atop the Flacon9 rocket manufactured by US commercial space firm SPACEX entered space at a fixed position some 36,000 Kms above the earth at 7.11 am (Korean Time).
