According to recent expert analysis, Scottish government support for major environmental agencies has been cut by 40% over the past decade, placing biodiversity and culture at risk.

Scottish Conservation Network, an alliance of more than 35 environmental, agricultural and advocacy organisations, reports that between 2010-11 and 2019-20 almost £ 100 million was cut from government agency budgets in Scotland.
