Taking its environmental concerns a notch up, Scotland this year is aiming for a green New Year celebration on January 1. Organizers of the New Year’s street party at Pitlochry are expecting thousands of people to participate in the celebrations. The party will run on Atholl Road in front of Fishers Hotel from 1pm until 4pm, with the road being shut off for the revelers.
