RUPEE WEIGHED DOWN BY 2 PAISE

On Monday, the rupee had seen a downfall of 2 paise. The Indian currency opened at 71.37 against the US dollar. This can be seen as a ripple-effect of increased crude-oil prices and optimism over trade deal between Washington and Beijing. Crude oil prices are at three-month highs following a higher than expected crude inventory drawdown.
