Natarajan Chandrasekaran, Chairman, Tata group said that the company can't have a situation where India keeps funding losses at its Port Talbot steelworks.
He emphasized that the Port Talbot steelworks in Wales is needed to be ‘self-sustaining’. It is one of the largest in Europe. Port Talbot supports just under half of Tata's 8,385-strong UK workforce.
