Offshore vessel owners will find it harder to access shipyard space by 2020 to perform substantial repair and maintenance work on their property. They will compete with an increasing need for capacity from commercial shipping, as repair yards fill up with vessels worldwide in desperate need of ballast water treatment and sulfur abatement systems.
