MEPs demand that dangerous "forever compounds" be regulated more quickly

MEPs have expressed alarm about the degree of pollution of some hazardous chemicals throughout Europe, leading requests to accelerate the implementation of so-called "forever chemicals" limits.

Forever chemicals, also known as per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), have earned this moniker due to their near-indestructibility.
