Massacre of democracy and then claims of being democratic

Kashmir is having its first election polls since the Modi stripped off the special status of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Polling will be held on 24 October in 310 blocks, which will be comprised a cluster of villages, and are part of the local village council system. Votes will be counted on the same day.
