Masirah Oil planning to drill additional wells in Block 50 off the coast of Oman

The first well will determine the Yumna field's eastern boundary.

Masirah Oil Limited (MOL), the 100% licence owner and operator of the Sultanate of Oman's only producing oilfield off the east coast, has announced plans to increase drilling in its Block 50 concession offshore Masirah Island, largely to boost reserves and take advantage of current high oil prices.
