Markets remain stable as tensions between the US and Iran diminish

For the second straight day on Friday, equity markets closed in the green, as investors looked past geopolitical uncertainty and wagered on a positive start to the earnings season.

The 30-share BSE Sensex paved some gains to finish 147.37 points, or 0.36 per cent, higher at 41,599.72, after rallying 323 points during the day.
