- LG Group, South Korea's fourth-largest conglomerate, on Tuesday backed off from claims that its planned spin-off of subsidiaries could undermine shareholder value, saying the move will actually be of value to its stockholders.
- LG Group is of the opinion that their shareholder value will actually improve since the group can focus on its key businesses, which include electronics, chemicals and telecommunications.
