An officer stated on Wednesday that the Gurugram Police had detained five persons, including a lawyer and an assistant sub-inspector, in connection with the theft of land belonging to a non-resident Indian (NRI) for a value of 40 crore through the use of a forged general power of attorney.
According to the police, the defendants had land that belonged to an NRI and was worth 40 crores transferred into their name by fabricating docume....
