JR EAST TO REDUCE THE NUMBER OF TRAINS BY ABOUT 20%

Highlights –

• JR East to reduce the number of trains by about 20%.
• Other major private railway companies also plan to cut the number of trains.
• A total of 88 trains on each day will be cut between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. on seven lines.
