Japan Display pulls out investment deal with Suwa consortium

Japan Display has recently withdrawn from its investment deal with the Suwa consortium. Sources allege the reason was the LCD technology company was unable to reach a final agreement on the capital injection by year-end.

Furthermore, the company also said it remains in talks with the Ichigo Trust on additional funding and hopes to complete the deal within the next couple months.
