An Italian player was banned for the rest of the Women's Rugby World Cup after she bit an opponent in New Zealand.
Lock On Monday, a judicial committee heard the case against Sara Tounesi, who is accused of committing the infraction during last weekend's match against Japan in Auckland. Italy came out on top with a 21-8 victory.
