Intu retailer to bid for £ 1bn in emergency cash

Intu Properties plc, formerly the Capital Shopping Centers Group plc, is a British real estate company, which focuses mainly on the management and construction of shopping centres. In May 2010, it was originally named Liberty International Plc, after having split its business unit Capital & Counties Properties into an independent corporation, into the Capital Shopping Centers, its largest subsidiary.
