Instagram will now ask new users for date of birth to create an account  

Instagram announced in its blog post that it will ask its new users to add date of birth. 

Instagram blogpost said: “Asking for this information will help prevent underage people from joining Instagram, help us keep young people safer and enable more age-appropriate experiences overall”.
