Post the Fukushima nuclear disaster, a vast amount of radioactive contaminated water got stored by Tokyo Electric Power Co. The same has been treated but still contaminants are present in it. The Economy and Industry ministry has proposed to eliminate the same gradually by evaporation or releasing the waters into sea.
