The government on Thursday asked WhatsApp to clarify the snooping outrage after the Facebook-possessed informing application affirmed that Indian human rights activists and writers were among those focused by the Israeli spyware in a hacking binge. The administration additionally asked WhatsApp what it was doing to defend the security of a large number of Indian residents.
